We all want our own bathroom, so we built one close to each Caban, in a shepherds hut with toilet, walk-in shower, basin and organic soaps and lotions from Laughing Birds. The name, Caban, is inspired by Welsh meeting rooms historically used at the mines. It seems well suited, reflecting a cultural link to the region where these small buildings provided shelter, often in remote locations. Ours are named after old mines in South Wales: Merios, Ty Mawr and Llwynon and Tom is busy building Dyllas. The Cabans all have electricity – we want you to get away but not to be totally cut-off – and Wifi is free in hide’s Pavilion.
