Cabans

Hide’s three cosy wooden Cabans are individually hand made, tucked between trees, bushes and wildflowers. Each has plenty of space, with its own terrace, separate private bathroom and kitchenette. Cwtch up beside our Chilli Penguin Wood Burning Stove, sleep in a double bed with cotton sheets, electric blanket, duvet and Melin Tregwent’s wonderful woollen blankets and wake with the most beautiful sea views.

Guest Information Booklet

We all want our own bathroom, so we built one close to each Caban, in a shepherds hut with toilet, walk-in shower, basin and organic soaps and lotions. The name, Caban, is inspired by Welsh meeting rooms historically used at the mines. It seems well suited, reflecting a cultural link to the region where these small buildings provided shelter, often in remote locations. Ours are named after old mines in South Wales: Merios, Llwynon and Dyllas. The Cabans all have electricity – we want you to get away but not to be totally cut-off – and Wifi is free in hide’s Pavilion.

Brilliant well equipped, good quality furniture and bedding, excellent bath room which was really warm, all you need in the kitchen, fab location, attentive host ,not forgetting the log burner. A great get away very peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a break from the world…
