Hide’s three cosy wooden Cabans are individually hand made, tucked between trees, bushes and wildflowers. Each has plenty of space, with its own terrace, separate private bathroom and kitchenette. Cwtch up beside our Chilli Penguin Wood Burning Stove, sleep in a double bed with cotton sheets, duvet and Melin Tregwent’s wonderful woollen blankets and wake with the most beautiful sea views.

We all want our own bathroom, so we built one close to each Caban, in a shepherds hut with toilet, walk-in shower, basin and organic soaps and lotions. The name, Caban, is inspired by Welsh meeting rooms historically used at the mines. It seems well suited, reflecting a cultural link to the region where these small buildings provided shelter, often in remote locations. Ours are named after old mines in South Wales: Merios, Llwynon and Dyllas. The Cabans all have electricity – we want you to get away but not to be totally cut-off – and Wifi is free in hide’s Pavilion.
We had a lovely relaxing time in the Shepherds Hut. Great meals out at the restaurants recommended and booked for us by Paula who was a great host. Even though Storm Brian was passing through we were cosy and well looked after. Thoroughly recommended and we look forward to returning soon.
