We had a wonderful time staying at Walden Lodge. The lodge was perfect and the attention and care taken in creating it was second to none. The owners were absolutely lovely and couldn’t of looked after us any better. The view and surrounding area was wonderful. Would wholeheartedly recommend going there and we will definitely visit again.
A lovely weekend with an artistic and modern feel to it. The balance between glamping and ‘camping’ was just right and the location of Hide is ideal with regards to nearby towns and walks.

We love it at Hide, we have had two stays and would like to go again. It is definitely more glam than camping and Paula and Tom are really kind.

The Hide at St Donats was the perfect retreat, we were blown away with the beauty of the Bugail Hut. Paula was the perfect host, a lovely warm and welcoming person. The hut was so warm and cosy and the attention to detail amazing. The area is great, lots of pubs nearby, places to eat and the coastal footpath is stunning and unspoilt. We already starting planning our return during our stay. Cannot recommend this hidden treasure enough
We like to stay in quirky one off places for weekends away in the country, without a doubt the bugail shepherds hut at hide at stdonats is the best by far. Lovely couple who run the site, perfect location, perfect accommodation, and it was absolutely spotless. Thanks so much for our stay over the new years eve weekend!
The perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The house is beautiful – simple and cosy with lovely little Thoreau-inspired details. Our hosts, Paula and Tom, made us feel very welcome. We took fabulous walks along the coast and found great places to eat nearby. Wonderful!
Brilliant stay at Hide! The Caban was beautiful and the views were lovely. It rained a lot while we were there so next time I would take a pair of ear plugs just in case! Paula was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. Look forward to going back in the summer x
Paula was a fantastic host and her recommendations on sights and restaurants in the local area were perfect. Her knowledge on the area and the history behind the properties available is incredible and we were lucky to have found such a place to stay. I would highly recommend the Lodge as a destination due to the atmosphere Paula has created; the feeling of being completely isolated but in a luxurious and cosy setting is a hard one to provide in the UK. Thanks and we will be back again!

We had a lovely relaxing time in the Shepherds Hut. Great meals out at the restaurants recommended and booked for us by Paula who was a great host. Even though Storm Brian was passing through we were cosy and well looked after. Thoroughly recommended and we look forward to returning soon.

Brilliant well equipped, good quality furniture and bedding, excellent bath room which was really warm, all you need in the kitchen, fab location, attentive host ,not forgetting the log burner. A great get away very peaceful. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a break from the world…

We had a wonderful time staying in our charming cabin in Tresilian Woods. Would highly recommend for a restful and replenishing time. We spend our time breakfasting on the porch, watching the sea from the coastline and reading by the fire. The use of local arts to decorate and really bring to life the spaces were a pleasure to be surrounded by. Thoroughly appreciate your hospitality.

My friends and I stayed in the Lodge, which absolutely exceeded our expectations and was spectacular. Fantastic attention to detail with every piece of artwork and fabric lovingly thought out. Kitchen and bathroom were immaculate. Bedrooms were comfortable, cosy, and there’s nothing like a log fire in a lodge to make your summer memorable. Tom & Paula were excellent, attentive with great knowledge of the surrounding area and helped us made out stay perfect. We’re already looking forward to next year’s visit.
We had a lovely time. The cabans were perfect. Kitchen and shower facilities excellent too.So good to have all those facilities. We appreciated the extra wood delivered. Would be nice to provide a couple of extra tealights (we often bring, but forgot). Great hosts and inspirational environment!
